Pantone is the color reference in the world of design and fashion. And why not in gastronomy too with its 2025 Pantone color 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, a warm and rich brown shade that evokes such comforting winter beverages...
Pantone is a true reference for artists, fashion designers and designers. A world specialist in color, Pantone was created in 1963 and offers a universal language for colors that facilitates decisions at all stages of production, for all brands and all manufacturers. More than 10 million designers and producers from all over the world trust its products and services.

The Pantone Color Institute offers personalized color standards and advice on brand identity and product color. It also publishes trend forecasts in its “Color of the Year” announcement. And 2025 indirectly puts the spotlight on gastronomy. Because, in this year 2025, the institute has selected Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, a warm and rich brown shade that fuels the desire for comfort by subtly evoking cocoa, chocolate and coffee.

Here too, it can be an excellent opportunity for delicatessens to present, in a new decor in Mocha Mousse colors, products that have been showcased at Gourmet Selection. Chocolate, for example, is one of the most represented gourmet products at the show. Some thirty exhibitors showcased it - in its “raw” state or in biscuits and pastries - at the last edition of the show. As did coffee, the aroma of which wafted from just under twenty stands in September 2024.

The list of last year's exhibitors can also be found on the Gourmet Selection website.

Note that, on the Pantone website, we discover many designers who have worked on the color of the year. Notably the luxury tea brand Tealeaves. It was inspired by the Pantone 17-1230 Mocha Mousse shade to unveil a black tea with a touch of cocoa mixed with chamomile, cinnamon and dandelion root.
