
More Than Caviar: A Taste of Innovation from Comptoir du Caviar
The Comptoir du Caviar booth at Gourmet Selection 2024 featured caviar, of course. But not only caviar!
Poutargue, sea urchin coral, trout roe, keta salmon roe, flying fish roe and various taramas: the company's catalogue includes many other delights.
A new product was previewed at the show: a seaweed spread available in three versions (thyme and lemon, Provençal and oriental spices). Designed as an original yet popular product, this spread is made from pressed beans, wakame seaweed and spices. With its natural white beans and organic seaweed, it's a healthy alternative to traditional hummus or guacamole for gourmet aperitifs and can also be used as a condiment with grilled meats or fish.
Guarantees of quality
For this new range, Comptoir du Caviar has kept up the high standards of sourcing for which it is renowned. ‘Our spreadables are made in our own factory in Mulcent (Yvelines) from Wakame seaweed selected for its quality in the unspoilt waters of South Finistère.
Produced 100% in Brittany and certified organic. We give priority to seaweed harvested sustainably on farms, in order to preserve the resource and guarantee quality and taste’ thus guarantees the brand, which is also reaffirming its quality commitments (respect for the cold chain and delivery with Chronofresh, 100% secure online payment, commitment to the WWF foundation).
